Because of too many anticipation for "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" - which will come to cinemas in Germany at the end of April - I started these days watching "Phase one" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe one more time.
At the last night it was the turn of Edward Norton to be transformed into the incredible Hulk. And at some moments I was thinking by myself that it was a pitty Marvel and Norton separated from each other. Because he was fitting very good into this movie. But on the other hand Mark Ruffalo fits extremly good into the "Avengers-Bruce Banner"-role 2012. I also was thinking about how it would be if they playing the rule in the other actor's movie. And I couldn't imagine Norton as the elderly and seemingly unsure Bruce Banner who appears next to Iron Man, Thor and the other Avengers. On the other hand I couldn't imagine Ruffalo as the younger Doctor who gets back to his girlfriend Betty Ross, too.
The conclusion for me is that Marvel found with Mark Ruffalo the right replacement for Edward Norton in addition to changing the role of Bruce Banner. But one part of me would like to see how Norton take his place in the Avengers-movies.
Thinking about this topic leads me to another point: I'm very amused how many well-known actors wanted to be part of the comic-movie-hype. It started with Jeff Bridges (Iron Man) and Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk) and continued with Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2), Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman (both Thor), Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving (both Captain America), Sir Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3), Robert Redford (Captain America "2"), Clenn Close, Benicio del Torro (both Guardians of the Galaxy) and Michael Douglas (Ant-Man). I wonder who will be the next one to get a part of the pie.
And I hate the circumstance that I still have to wait four months to see "Age of Ultron" - I can't await it...

Another blue little birdy
As you may have seen on my dA-profile I have a (small) YouTube-channel, where I post videos (in German) about several topics. Maybe you already had a look at this channel. Today I decided to make an account at another social media-website: Twitter. I avoided this website for years now, but after putting more effort in my YT-channel I thought it would be a good idea to be present on Twitter aswell. So I'm inviting you to have a look at my Twitter-handle, too. Over there I'm posting in German and English, so more people can understand what I wrote. ;)
Question-time: Single miniatures
In lack of having a poll-function I'm using the journal entries as an alternative. I will ask a question and hopefully some of you are willing to answer it. :)
The question this time is heading towards the miniatures of mine. As you know - if you had a look into my gallery - I normally upload pictures of squads and regiments which I considered to be finished (plus pictures of individual characters). And here comes the question into play:
Are you interested in a picture of a variety of single miniatures from several regiments to get an impression how the different regiments will look like? These miniatures are all part of my Warriors of Chao
Awesomeness made in Poland - Part 1
When I was in school some of my female classmates had a Polish background. All of them were very intelligent, nice, heartwarming, emphatic and very beautiful. Since this time I have big sympathies for this country and the people living there. I were on a class trip to Crakow, too and the city is nearly impressive as the women coming from Poland. The country has much to give - an interesting history, a cute language, a breathtaking countryside. Only the new political situation makes me sad - as a liberal I am.
But this wasn't the topic I wanted to write about. Actually I wanted to feature some awesome deviantArtists coming from this lovely co
Underestimated work: Watchmen
Well, to be honst at first: I'm not quite sure if this movie is really be underestimated. But in my perception this comic-adaption don't got the focus it deserved.
I just watched the movie another time a few hours ago and I realized new philosophical and metaphysical approaches. From my point of view Watchmen is a movie that is getting better and better the more times it is being watched. If you didn't watched it yet, be aware that the rest of this entry maybe include spoilers. But I will try my best to avoid them. Either way - you should make up for watching this movie.
So why do I think this movie is unterestimated? In our time, where the

I remember discussing this with someone recently. In a way, it makes the incredible hulk (2008) look like a decent stand alone film which I enjoy watching over and over again.
I didn't quite get my head around Ruffalo to begin with either but I guess he was more of the scientist Banner and Norton was the Outcast Survivor Banner (ME LIKE HULK)
There have been quite a few good choices of roles. Even Christopher Eccleston playing Malekith in Thor 2.
Setting up for Age of Ultron XD
